Scripture Readings for Sunday May 24, 2020:

But ask the animals, and they will teach you; the birds of the air, and they will tell you; ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In [God’s] hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of every human being. (Job 12:7–10)

I will make for you a covenant on that day with the wild animals, the birds of the air, and the creeping things; the ground; and I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land; and I will make you lie down in safety. Hosea 2:18

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;

let the sea roar, and all that fills it;

let the field exult, and everything in it.

Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy

Before the Lord; for [God] is coming. (Psalm 96:11–13)
