LOVE.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
1 John 4:7 NRSV

We hope that in your time with us  you will experience the deep joy that comes from knowing you are loved by God and  welcomed by our church family.

Supporting our church family through Pastoral Care calling teams, our Caring Cards Ministry are some of the many ways we show how we love on another.

St. Mark’s Quilters

quilt-2 St. Mark’s quilters are an interdenominational group of women that meet every Wednesday morning from 9 am – 12 pm from September through June.

We hand quilt all projects, both small and large.  Quilts are brought to us from our group and friends and we always are willing to accept new projects.

We also host a quilt show ever other year to display quilting work from near and far and welcome submissions.  Please contact us for further information,  info@stmarkswhitby.ca

Milk Dress 2 This hardworking group collects plastic milk bags, cuts them into strips and strings them together to make plarn (plastic yarn).  The plarn is then either crocheted or woven into Milk Mats, which are sent to the Kawartha Mission for distribution by Canadian Food for Children to third world countries, and to reserves in Northern Ontario.
